This is what leadership looks like. The foundation of organizing starts with people of different backgrounds and of different generations coming together as one. At MOSES we are all working everyday to fight for a stronger Michigan.

Protecting kids should never be up for debate.
Community members gathered at the Capitol to demand action on Kayden's Law calling for safer family court practices, accountability, and a system that actually centers children's voices.
This is what advocacy looks like: people refusing to stay silent, standing together, and pushing for laws that protect our most vulnerable.
Keep speaking up. Keep showing up. Change happens when we do it together.

Everybody has something to say about the problems in our communities but not everybody is willing to step up to the mic. 🎤
These rooms are filled with community members speaking on the issues impacting Michigan families every single day from voting rights and public transit to housing, education, and justice.
Your voice belongs in these conversations too. Come learn, connect, and build with us.

Georgia Poll Workers are under attack. The Trump administration is attempting to access the personal information of everyday election workers. This includes both county election employees and everyday volunteers who helped run elections.
Poll workers are the people who help check voters in, answer questions, manage voting locations, and make sure elections run safely and fairly. Releasing this information could expose workers to intimidation, harassment, and political targeting.
MOSES stands in solidarity with election workers and everyone fighting to protect the freedom to vote. We can help you stay informed in what’s happening continues to educate, organize, and connect people around the issues impacting our everyday lives.
Be part of the work and conversations. ✊🏾

Mothers have always been at the center of community change. They’re the ones advocating for safer neighborhoods, better schools, affordable utilities, reliable transportation, and a future their children can thrive in.
At MOSES, we recognize that organizing is often rooted in love, protection, and the determination to leave the next generation better than we found it. That’s why the voices of mothers, caregivers, and community leaders matter so deeply in this work. 💛
As Mother’s Day just passed, we’re honoring the women who continue to show up, speak out, and fight for justice every single day.

A ballot is powerful… but what happens AFTER the election matters too.
Who keeps showing up to city meetings?
Who speaks out when communities are ignored?
Who pushes for affordable transit, clean water, fair policies, and real accountability?
That’s the work MOSES continues to do every day across Michigan. Real change happens between elections and we’re committed to the work year-round.
