October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing the funeral announcement for Mikki, a former board member of Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment (SAFE). She was a woman of God who loved her family, her church, entrepreneurship, and supporting new projects. Her heart for this work and for seeing others succeed will not be forgotten.

I am praying for her family and everyone who loved her. May God comfort them and give them strength during this difficult time.
