Sign the Petition Mayor Mike Duggan: Stop the Detroit Trash Incinerator
Breathe Free Detroit will be hosting a teach-in about "Zero-Waste" on September 20th from 6-7:30pm (location TBA).
Guest speakers will talk about what Zero-Waste is and how it goes beyond recycling and incorporates larger system shifts that Detroit residents need.
The speakers will also discuss Zero-Waste as a larger movement, but how it still relates to Detroit and the problems our City is facing, and also how Breathe Free Detroit's mission to shut down the Detroit incinerator is necessary for this shift to occur!

Breathe Free Detroit open meeting this Wednesday, May 24th from 6pm-7:30pm at Cass Corridor Commons (4605 Cass Ave. Detroit, MI 48201). They will be reporting back and bringing anyone who is interested up to date on their campaign against the . They'll be discussing next steps and working together to form summer goals.
