The Women's committee was established for the purpose of promoting greater understanding of the UAW's policies and programs, and to further the objective of our union in the community in which we live. The committee conducts programs which are of special interest to women, and encourages them to become active. Women are also encouraged to establish regional and area committees. Services to this committee are provided by the Women's Department of he International Union.

UAW local 2500 Women's Committee starting the Christmas season at Adopt a child program last night at Cobo hall.
Our child is an angel named Angel.
Special shout out to Kelly Johnson (expert shopper), Tanitra Peete for shopping & partying, Renee Johnson, Ruth Finn(she loved the IPad would not let go of it), Denisa Terrell, and Bridget Mayweather for always begin about the purpose.

The UAW local 2500 Women's Committee took a road trip this morning to Hands of Love Church in Flint Michigan. We delivered gallons of water, baby wipes and hand sanitizer.
Thanks to Danielle Gill of local 1781 and everyone who supported this successful effort.
