✨ SNEAK PEEK:✨
A new standard is coming for our youth.

Detroit… We have been sitting on something BIG.
Not just another youth program.
Not just another event.

This is a movement built for our teens who are ready to level up … mentally, emotionally, socially, and professionally.

Introducing: The Youth Collective — Detroit Youth Leadership Council 🧡💙

We’re creating a space where youth can:
✅ build real confidence + mental strength
✅ learn leadership + discipline
✅ develop communication skills
✅ get career readiness + entrepreneur skills
✅ represent their city with pride
✅ become the role models younger kids can look up to

Because the truth is…
Our kids are smart. They’re talented. They’re powerful.
They just need the right structure, guidance, and environment to bring it out.

This isn’t about being “perfect.”
This is about building youth who are prepared.

If your teen has potential and you want them around a circle that pushes them to be better… this is for them.

Parents, if you’ve been praying for something positive, something safe, something modern, something that actually helps your child grow…
this is it !

📵 Social Media & Youth Mental Health: A Personal Story 🧠✨

As a mother, I’ve seen firsthand how social media can affect our kids. My son recently started cutting his phone off more often because he felt like social media was giving him brain fog. He told me that now, with less screen time, he can think more clearly, comprehend better in class, and focus on what really matters. That realization was powerful.

Social media can be fun and informative, but it also comes with hidden challenges, such as:
🚫 Anxiety & stress – Constant notifications and online drama can be overwhelming.
🚫 Lack of focus – Scrolling for hours can make it hard to concentrate on schoolwork.
🚫 Comparison & low self-esteem – Seeing “perfect” lives online can make kids feel like they’re not enough.
🚫 Sleep issues – Screen time late at night affects rest and energy levels.

But the good news is, there are positive ways to manage social media stress:
✅ Set screen time limits – Balance online and offline life.
✅ Take mental breaks – Turn off the phone for a few hours each day.
✅ Engage in hobbies – Sports, reading, music, and creative activities keep the mind sharp.
✅ Prioritize real-life connections – Spend more time with family and friends in person.
✅ Follow positive content – Unfollow pages that cause stress and surround yourself with uplifting content.

If my son can recognize the difference in his mental clarity, imagine what our youth could achieve with more balance in their digital lives! Let’s guide them toward healthier habits and stronger minds.

💬 Parents, have you noticed changes in your kids due to social media? Let’s talk about it in the comments!

🌟 Give a Gift, Change a Life - Youth Christmas Giveaway 🌟

This holiday season, many families in our community will struggle to make ends meet, and unfortunately, the magic of Christmas will feel out of reach. For some, it’s not just the cost of presents, but the weight of tough times that makes the season harder to bear.

At the Youth Collective, we believe that no child should have to experience a Christmas without joy and hope. That’s why we’re hosting our Annual Youth Christmas Giveaway on December 21st in downtown Detroit, to provide underprivileged families with gifts, food, and warmth this holiday season.

The holiday season is meant to be a time of celebration, love, and togetherness—but for many, it can bring feelings of isolation, stress, and sadness. We want to make a difference by lighting up the faces of these children and showing them they are seen, loved, and supported.

🎁 How You Can Help:
We need your help to make this event a success! With your donation, we can provide toys, clothes, and food to families who need it most. Together, we can put smiles on the faces of those who need a reminder that the community cares.

💫 Join us in spreading joy this Christmas!

Hello, I am the founder of a The Youth Collective non-profit that is very close to my heart. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide young people with the guidance, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential. Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, but too often, young people in our community face challenges that make it hard for them to succeed. That's why I started this program—to give them hope, a safe space, and mentors who believe in their greatness.

We are in the process of securing our 501(c)(3) status, which will allow us to reach even more youth and offer life-changing programs. With your support, we can expand our services, provide resources, and ensure every young person in our program graduates with a plan for their future and the confidence to pursue their dreams.

Your generosity is more than just a donation—it's an investment in a young person’s life. Together, we can create a brighter future for the youth in our community. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us make a lasting impact on the next generation.
