UPDATE🐾 UPDATE🐾 UPDATE

The female canine approximately 8-10 years old that was recovered from the Family Dollar Store dumpster was suffering from a large, ruptured tumor in the stomach and chest area.

A preliminary medical assessment indicates that the animal never received required veterinary care for the condition, allowing the mass to progress to a critical and painful stage.

Due to the severity of the medical neglect and the level of active suffering, a licensed veterinarian determined that treatment was no longer a viable option. To prevent further prolonged distress, the decision was made to humanely euthanize the animal.

🐾 🚨 ANIMAL CRUELTY INVESTIGATION / SEEKING INFORMATION 🚨 🐾

The Dickson Police Department is urgently asking for the community’s help. This small dog was found inside a dumpster at the Family Dollar after being dumped by an unknown individual. Tragically, the dog was left for dead with a disturbing injury to its stomach.

Miraculously, the dog was still alive when found and has been taken for emergency medical treatment.
