STUDENTS!

I'm going to Europe in Summer 2025, and you’re invited!

I'm excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://rsvp.eftours.com/bvg3jh8 [https://rsvp.eftours.com/bvg3jh8?utm_source=ptk_meeting_1]

When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.

In this info session, we’ll talk about:

* How this opportunity will benefit your student
* What we’ll see and do on our trip
* Everything that’s included in this experience
* How your child can earn academic credit
* How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
* How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period

There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!

Thanks,
Kathryn Thompson

Please note this is a non-school sponsored trip.

MEETING TODAY! VIRTUAL PARENT EMPOWERMENT MEETING for SUBSTANCE ABUSE & ADDICTION

The teenage brain develops rapidly during the school years and is very susceptible to addictions to substances, po*******hy, energy drinks, and more! Va**ng is especially attractive for teens with over 2.1 million users in grades 6-12.

Come learn with us TODAY, Tuesday, March 12th, as we learn about the brain, addictions, and the epidemic of va**ng. We'll go over how to help our kids and other family members prevent the usage and intervene if use has already started.

Meeting starts at 7pm and is useful for students and adults!

🎉🎵 Exciting Announcement! 🎉🎵

We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you all! Three talented students have been selected to participate in the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL this July in Chicago, hosted by Sistema Ravinia! 🎻🎺

Out of over 40 organizations that submitted students for participation, our students stood out and earned this prestigious opportunity. They will have the chance to connect with musicians from Mexico, Sweden, and other El Sistema USA students, making this an unforgettable experience.

🌟 Let's give a round of applause to our selected students:
Senior Dylan Quintana (violin)
10th grader Nephi Garcia (horn)
10th grader Jacob Brady (tuba)

Additionally, 8th grader Emma Murray is first on the flute waiting list, showcasing our remarkable talent at American Prep.

We are incredibly grateful to Ravinia for covering most of the students' airfare, providing free lodging and meals throughout the event, and offering free ground transportation. Our incredible Mrs. Christensen will accompany them as the chaperone.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their skills nationally, and we couldn't be more proud of them! 🌟
