🚧 Important Update from the Ron Cross Senior Activity Center 🚧

Due to new flooring being installed at the center and the strong glue fumes associated with the project, there will be no activities held at the Ron Cross Senior Activity Center this week.

The Southern Oklahoma Nutrition Program has also decided to close as a precaution to help ensure the safety and comfort of all participants and staff.

Please continue to watch our page for updates regarding Friday’s schedule and reopening information. Thank you for your patience and understanding while these improvements are being completed!

🥚 Community Egg Distribution Complete 🥚

Our Community Egg Distribution has officially ended, and we are so thankful for the incredible support from our community!

A total of 22,000 eggs were delivered to the Ron Cross Senior Activity Center on Monday, May 11, 2026, with distribution beginning May 12.

Distribution totals included:
🥚 Day 1: 91 boxes distributed — 16,380 eggs
🥚 Day 2: 19 boxes distributed — 3,420 eggs
🥚 Day 3: 6 boxes distributed — 1,080 eggs
🥚 Day 4: 4 boxes distributed — 720 eggs

We would like to extend a special thank you to Wu Ye for the generous egg donation and to all of the volunteers who helped make this distribution possible. It truly takes a village when you have 22,000 eggs to distribute! 💛

✨️Our building is getting a fresh new look!✨️
The building is undergoing new floor installation. Due to building construction SONP Durant will be closed tomorrow, Thursday May 21 and Friday May 22. The safety of our participants and staff is our utmost priority. Please share to help get the word out. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep everyone safe during construction.

🥚 Helping Our Community Stay Nourished 🥚

We’re excited to share a new opportunity for Bryan County seniors. Through a partnership with Asian Gourmet, eggs will be available for eligible residents at the Ron Cross Senior Activity Center.

Beginning May 12, distribution will take place each day in the early afternoon. Quantities are limited, so we encourage arriving early. Caregivers are also welcome to pick up on behalf of those they assist.

This effort is made possible thanks to the generosity of Wu Ye and his dedication to supporting local seniors.
