Last night we celebrated the heart of the Snoqualmie Valley, our local businesses! Thank you to the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce and the Snoqualmie Valley Record for bringing us together to celebrate these incredible businesses, especially with a fun Red Carpet Rodeo theme. Congratulations to all the Best of the Valley nominees and winners!

One of the things I appreciate most about our business community is how much they give back. I see their names at every nonprofit auction, as sponsors on community events, and helping make so many wonderful things happen throughout our Valley.

They do so much more than provide goods, services, and jobs. Let’s keep showing up for the businesses that show up for us. When we support local, our whole community benefits!

My heart is with the students, families, educators, and the entire Bend, Oregon community following the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School. No child should ever have to fear for their safety, and no family should have to experience this kind of heartbreak.

Holding everyone affected, including the first responders and school staff working through this tragedy in our thoughts. Every child deserves to feel safe at school, and every family deserves that peace of mind. Hoping for healing, comfort, and strength in the days ahead. Sending love and deepest condolences from our Duvall community.
