Today, we're taking a closer look at a historic M1911A1 .45 caliber pistol which will be on display at our show this November 21st and 22nd.

Highlighting historic military fi****ms allows us to honor the brave individuals who carried them. Lemuel Custis, a Hartford native, was one of the original five aviators to graduate from the Tuskegee Army Air Field, making history as a pioneering member of the 99th Pursuit Squadron.

At the last CCDL General Membership Meeting: Stephen King, Chairman of the Board of Andover Sportsman’s Club and Vice President of Ye Connecticut Gun Guild along with YCGG Member and CCDL Outreach Member David Polowy presented CCDL with checks for $1,000 from each organization.

A challenge issued from Stephen King to all clubs: “donate one thousand dollars to CCDL…”
