Palmer Township Trash & Recycling
Up to date information and updates regarding trash and recycling in Palmer Township, PA
As a reminder - if your property qualifies to be included in the waste & recycling program, you will be charged for participation in the program. These charges are included in your quarterly utility bills.
Participation in the program is not dependent upon how much waste/recycling is generated and/or how much waste/recycling is placed at the curb on a weekly basis.
We highly encourage all residents to utilize the collection program as often as they need, but to also utilize the facilities that are available to all Palmer residents, the Hartley Avenue Recycling Center and the Berks Street Yard Waste Facility.
Please feel free to reach out to the Municipal building with any questions or concerns so that they may be addressed accordingly.
With Christmas tree collection having concluded for the year, please remember that if you still have a real Christmas tree that you are looking to get rid of, it should be taken to the Hartley Avenue Recycling Center located at 3600 Hartley Avenue.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 4pm
Saturday from 10am to 3pm

EARLY START FOR TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICE TOMORROW, 1/19/2024.
With the pending snow storm approaching our area tomorrow during the day, Waste Management will begin their daily collection 2 HOURS EARLIER than normal. This means that they will begin collecting at 4am.
Remember that service is on a 1 day delay this week due to the storm that hit our area earlier in the week. So, tomorrows collection will be for everyone who is normally serviced on Thursday.

As always, please call the Township at 610-253-7191 should you have any questions.
