It’s EMS Week !!! We just want to say thank you to our crews, neighboring agencies, hospital staff, and the community that trusts us every day.
This year’s EMS Week theme is “Improving Outcomes, Together,” and honestly that fits exactly what emergency services should be. Nobody does this job alone.
Easton Emergency Squad keeps growing, improving, and pushing forward. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring in better equipment, and training to better serve our city and surrounding communities. We are proud to say that in a couple weeks, a new truck will be hitting the streets! Longtime Easton, Glendon, and Williams Township residents, along with the legacy members of Easton Emergency Squad and Williams Township EMS may recognize a little piece of the past in the design. It’s a reminder that even with new faces and new ideas, we still value the roots of this organization and the people who put their heart and soul into building it. 👀🧡
To all our staff — thank you for continuing to show up, work hard, and care about this job and this community as much as you do.
Happy EMS Week from all of us at Easton Emergency Squad.

🖤 Mental Health Awareness Month 🖤
In emergency services, we see people on some of the worst days of their lives. What people don’t always see is the weight we carry long after the call is over.
This month is a reminder to check on each other, talk about the tough ones, remember that even the strongest providers need support too. Taking care of each other and your own mental health matters just as much as taking care of our community.
This song really hits home. Listen to it.
🎶 If your light burns out and you're in the dark
If you can't pick up the pieces
If the world you trusted falls apart
If your heart's run out of reasons
I'll be there every time you call
Pick you up every time you fall
If you'rе going through hell, you're not alone
If you need somеbody, say so 🎶

This weekend, our crews spent time sharpening their skills during TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) training, led by the Lehigh Valley Pocono’s Training Institute.
From classroom work to hands-on scenarios, our providers were pushed to think fast, work together, and operate under pressure—just like the calls we train for.
We take training seriously because our community deserves the best when it matters most. This is the kind of work that makes sure we’re ready for whatever comes next.
The photos don’t even do it justice, but they give a glimpse into the level of training our team is committed to.
Huge thank you to our instructors Steve, Jon and Dr. Roesler for challenging our crews and bringing real-world experience to the table. You all were amazing!
Also a special shout out to our Lafayette EMS Club students who stepped in as patients—we appreciate you taking part and helping make the scenarios as real as possible!
Strong work, and congratulations to all the students, we are proud to have you all as part of our team!

Who loves Food Trucks, Crafts, and a tricky tray ?!? Get out and support our family over at Williams Township Fire Company !!
We’re excited to launch our Community Supporter T-Shirt Fundraiser — and to share something important.
Our current building has served us for decades… but it’s beyond its prime. It’s outdated, unreliable, and no longer fits the needs of a modern EMS agency or the crews who operate from it 24/7. Simply put — we need to rebuild.
Easton Emergency Squad has officially begun working toward a new facility. One that is safe, functional, and built to support the 5,000 emergency calls we answer each year.
Proceeds from this shirt sale will go toward improving crew spaces for now and in the future building — furniture, day room areas, and the small but important things that make long 12–24 hour shifts more manageable.
This is just the beginning. In the coming months, we’ll be sharing more about our larger building initiative and opportunities for community leaders, businesses, and partners to be part of this next chapter.
If you’d like to support your EMS today, grab a shirt and wear it proudly.
We’re building something better — for our crews and for the community we serve. 💙🚑

Now that crews have had a moment to breathe after yesterday, we just want to say thank you.
This fire displaced families, seriously injured Wilson Firefighter Bobby, and sent one of our own medics to the hospital. Please keep all of them in your thoughts as they recover.
To every firefighter, EMT, paramedic, police officer, dispatcher, and support staff — thank you for showing up and giving everything you had.
Huge thanks to Suburban EMS and Bethlehem Township EMS for jumping in with transports and rehab while conditions kept changing. The medical side had a lot of moving parts, and everyone worked together exactly how it should. The patch on your arm doesn’t matter — teamwork does.
Thank you to the Northampton County Emergency Dispatch call takers and TAC/OPS crews. Sitting on the other side of the radio during something like this is its own kind of stress, and you all handled it with professionalism and heart.
Thank you to city officials and local restaurants for helping care for displaced residents and exhausted responders.
And to our own team — thank you to the employees who came in to cover trucks so service to the city never stopped. That’s not just teamwork. That’s family.
On a personal note as EMS Command, thank you to neighboring leaders who checked on my crews — and on me. It was a rough one, but we got through it together. I’m incredibly proud of our team and everyone involved yesterday. 🫶🏼
From all of us at Easton Emergency Squad, congratulations to our friends over at Hanover Township on going ALS tonight at midnight!
We wish you the best of luck tonight and beyond! 🚑 🫶🏼

❄️🚑 Snowmageddon 2026 ShoutOut 🚒❄️
While many of our community members were home enjoying extra family time, kids celebrating a snow day off from school, and living their best pajama-all-day lives, your local first responders were out navigating slippery roads, icy driveways, a foot or more of fluffy snow and everything in between.
A huge THANK YOU to the City of Easton Road Department and PennDOT for the long hours and hard work keeping roads as clear and safe as possible. You often do not get the appreciation you deserve so we want you all to know you are all hero’s in our book!
To our Family over at Easton Fire and Williams Township Fire co, You all are rockstars. Thank you for plowing or shoveling the way, and having our backs during the storm. Special thanks to the Easton FD College Hill crew for welcoming us into your house so we could have an ambulance closer to college hill, downtown and the west ward. This kind of teamwork is exactly what we strive for.
We’re proud to serve a community that looks out for one another — whether you’re behind the wheel of a plow, on a fire apparatus, in an ambulance, or home enjoying a well-earned snow day. Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy that family time.
