🚨 FLOODING POTENTIAL — PLEASE REPORT DAMAGES 🚨
The National Weather Service in Wilmington reports that a Flood Watch remains in effect until noon today, Monday, Sept. 21. Locally heavy downpours may result in localized flooding this morning, and saturated soils are increasing the risk for flash flooding.
Rainfall totals of 3 to 6 inches have been observed in portions of the region over the past 48 hours. Additional showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall remain possible this morning, with areas that have already received significant rainfall most vulnerable to additional flooding.
