A proud night for 1 AD DIVARTY ✨
On January 9, 2026, we gathered to celebrate the time-honored tradition of the Saint Barbara’s Ball. We spent the night honoring our patron saint, our history, and the strength of Iron Steel community. This tradition continues to bring us together to reflect on service, camaraderie, and those who have served before us.

Thank you to our distinguished guest speaker, BRIG Andrew Ridland, for sharing his insights and helping make the evening truly memorable.

Most of all, thank you to the nearly 900 Soldiers, families, and friends who were in attendance. Your presence is what keeps this tradition strong.

What was your favorite part of the night? 🤩

Today, 1 AD DIVARTY brought our Battalions together for a Long-Range Training Calendar Planning Conference focused on setting conditions for success. With guidance from Steel 6 and 7, leaders looked ahead to FY27 to deliberately plan training that is synchronized and executable.

The DIVARTY staff was on hand throughout the conference to support collaboration and deconflict requirements across formations. Our goal is simple: turn planned training into executed training and provide maximum predictability for our Soldiers and Families. Deliberate planning today ensures readiness tomorrow.

As the year comes to a close, 1st AD DIVARTY reflects with pride on all that we have accomplished together. This year was marked by hard work, resilience, and teamwork. Every mission, training event, and milestone strengthened our readiness and sharpened our capabilities with our units stretched from Poland to the south-west border.

These experiences reinforced our readiness, strengthened multinational relationships, and showcased the standard of excellence that 1st AD DIVARTY brings wherever we serve.

Throughout the year, we faced challenges head-on, grew stronger as a team, and continued to uphold the values that define our organization. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our Soldiers, leaders, and families.

As we move into the new year, we do so with confidence and momentum. There is much ahead, including new missions, new opportunities, and continued growth. Together, we remain ready to answer the call and take on whatever comes next.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus stop by F/60th to help welcome Soldiers and Families to Fort Bliss and the 1 AD DIVARTY family. Moments like these highlight the importance of connection, community, and taking care of one another during the holiday season.

Last Friday was all about bringing our DIVARTY family together. From sharing good food to spending time with our loved ones, this holiday party reminded us that strong relationships, at home and in uniform, are what truly keep us going.

We’re grateful for the Soldiers, families, and teammates who make this unit strong all year long. As we head into block leave, we wish everyone a safe, restful, and happy holiday season. See you in the New Year! 🎁🇺🇸

🎉 Last Friday was a fantastic Org Day for 1 AD DIVARTY! 🎉

Org Days play a vital role in strengthening our camaraderie and team cohesion. Stepping away from day-to-day tasks allows us to connect on a more personal level and appreciate the unique strengths each Battalion brings to our team. Through shared activities and open conversations, we build trust and foster mutual respect, which makes us not just colleagues, but a more unified and collaborative team.

We celebrated our Iron Steel family with some unforgettable moments. Iron Steel 6 and 7 welcomed our newest parents with special “baby orders,” officially bringing their little ones into our community. 👶💙

Steel 6 awarded the first three brave service members who dunked him in the dunk tank with free tickets to the St. Barbara’s Ball! 💦🏆

The day was filled with friendly competition, featuring kickball, flag football, volleyball, tug-o-war, and basketball. Every member of the winning teams received a free ticket to the St. Barbara’s Ball, thanks to our generous donors!
