Jones County has issued a county wide burn ban effective immediately and running through November 16. Weather conditions have prompted the burn ban. Please take this serious! Those found open burning may face fines, civil, or criminal charges.

Ellisville Firefighters assisted Jones County Volunteer departments to help contain and extinguish a complicated fire last night. Crews fought up to 20 car fires, a structure fire, all while keeping it off of an adjacent structure. Great work by all crews on scene.

❤️💙 Thank You, First Responders! 🇺🇸

Our sixth graders have been learning about September 11, 2001 and the brave first responders who helped others during such a difficult time.

To show their appreciation, our students created special Thank You posters for first responders in our community. Today, we were so excited to welcome some of our local firefighters to school! 🚒

Our students were able to present their posters, meet our firefighters, and tell them “THANK YOU” in person! ❤️

We are so thankful for the men and women who serve our community and work every day to keep us safe. We are proud of our students for showing kindness, gratitude, and respect to those who serve! 🇺🇸👏

Thank you, firefighters, for all that you do! 🚒❤️💙

TEACH THEM YOUNG! Ellisville Fire Department recently spent the morning with West Jones Elementary kindergarten students. The children learned about fire safety in the home including how to call for help, finding a safe place, smoke detectors, and stop drop and roll. Thanks for having us!!
