We sent a group of strangers out to dinner.
Here’s how it works.
You join Kin.
You sign up for a dinner.
We place you at a table with a small group.
You show up.
That’s it.
No trying to “work the room.”
No walking into a bar alone.
No awkward introductions because everyone is there for the same reason.
The structure removes the weird part.
What’s left is the good part.
At Black Moon Pub it happened to be open mic night and the talent could have been a paid gig it was so good. But the real magic was simple. A table of people who didn’t know each other two hours earlier… laughing like they did.
That’s Kin.

Community matters more now than it has in a long time.

Somewhere along the way, we stopped knowing our neighbors.

We stopped showing up for each other.

We replaced shared spaces with screens and assumed connection would take care of itself.
It didn’t.

The foundation this country was built on wasn’t independence alone — it was interdependence.

Neighbors. Towns. People looking out for one another, even when they didn’t agree on everything.

Rebuilding that doesn’t start with politics or platforms.

It starts locally.

It starts with learning names again.

With shared tables, conversations, and showing up.

Strong communities create strong people.
Strong people create resilient towns.
And resilient towns are how everything else gets rebuilt.

This is the work.
And it starts closer to home than we think.

🍽️ Tomorrow Night Is Officially Set.

Kin Dinner Club is reserved at Brickhouse Soups for tomorrow night.

We’re especially excited to have them host our very first dinner—they’re just as passionate about building community as we are, and it shows in everything they do.

A small group.
A great local spot.
And a table intentionally set for connection—not randomness.
If you’re coming, you’re in.
If you’re not… this is your sign to join the next one 😉

Who you sit with matters.

Kin Dinner Club is a hosted dinner experience designed to make meeting new people feel natural.

When you sign up, Kin places you into a small dinner group based on personality — so the table feels balanced whether you’re introverted or extroverted.

Kin selects the restaurant, creates the group, and hosts the night.

You show up to a table that already makes sense.

No planning.
No guessing.
No awkward introductions.

What town should we launch in next?

Welcome to Kin
For a long time, it’s felt harder than it should to meet people, build friendships, and feel connected—especially in smaller towns like ours.

Kin exists to change that.

We’re creating simple, low-pressure ways to meet new people through shared experiences—like dinner rounds, group outings, and community-driven plans.

No awkward networking.
No dating app energy.

Just real people, real connection, and a reason to get out of the house.

This is also about supporting local businesses, rebuilding community, and creating something that actually works in rural areas—not just big cities.

If you’ve ever thought:
“It’s hard to make new friends as an adult”
“I wish there was more going on around here”
“Our community feels more disconnected than it used to”
You’re in the right place.

Early members will help shape what Kin becomes. Your voice matters here.
More soon. And if you’re curious, stay close.
