This past weekend, Love Your Block held a Neighborhood Celebration at Rodger Young Park in collaboration with the Urban Erie Community Development Corporation to celebrate the ongoing revitalization of the Buffalo Road neighborhood!
Volunteers and youth from the neighborhood celebrated the completion of their cleanup at the Old Burton School and New American Academy. Two twenty-yard dumpsters were filled, and several bags of trash were collected from the neighborhood!
We extend our sincere gratitude to all our partners who made this work happen!
• Urban Erie Community Development Corp for their great partnership and leading the charge to make a difference in their neighborhood!
• UPMC Health Plan for sponsoring the neighborhood celebration!
• City of Erie Government, Public Works/Parks & Rec for their logistical support and maintenance!
