The Erie Community Foundation is proud to announce a new grant opportunity made possible by the vision and generosity of a donor.

The Human Services Fund of Erie County will offer a new funding opportunity dedicated to strengthening the systems and services that help Erie County residents meet their most essential needs. One grant for $40,000 will be awarded to an organization working in one or more of the following areas: food access, housing stability, healthcare access, and childcare.

Every day, we come to work on our campus in the West Sixth Street Historic District, surrounded by the rich history of our city. It’s a reminder that The Erie Community Foundation is proud to serve as a trusted, permanent steward of greater Erie’s generosity for generations to come.

We’re proud to support the Community Blood Bank and its Prehospital Blood Transfusion Program—an initiative that allows first responders to begin life-saving blood transfusions before patients even reach the hospital.

This program strengthens emergency response and helps improve survival when every second matters. Through the power of collective giving, we invest in solutions that transform lives.

Historic preservation helps keep Erie’s story alive for future generations. We’re proud to support efforts that celebrate and restore the places that shape our community’s identity and strengthen downtown Erie for years to come.
