We are so excited to celebrate Jennifer Grund, our amazing Welcome Center teacher, for receiving the 2026 Dakota TESOL Teacher of the Year Award! 🎉

Since 2009, Jen has been dedicated to helping learners and families from around the world feel welcomed, supported, and connected to their new community. She plays such an important role in helping learners navigate new languages and cultures, adjust to a new school, and build a sense of belonging. Her patience, encouragement, and dedication help learners feel safe, valued, and confident as they learn and grow. The positive impact she makes on learners extends far beyond the classroom, and she helps create an environment where every child knows they belong.

Jen is someone everyone can count on! She is always willing to jump in and help wherever and whenever she is needed, never hesitating to lend a hand or support those around her. Her kindness, teamwork, and willingness to go above and beyond make her such a valuable part of our school community.

We are incredibly lucky to have Jen as part of our Willow Park Wolf Pack, and we couldn’t be prouder of this well-deserved recognition!

Congratulations, Jen! We are so proud of you and grateful for everything you do for our learners, families, and staff! 🐺💙

Thank you Fargo Fire!

Earlier today, visited Willow Park Elementary to give students tips on general fire safety during Fire Prevention Week. Students learned what to do if they smell smoke, how to safely charge devices and the basics of "stop, drop and roll".

Opportunities to interact with the youth through Fire Safety education is just one of our favorite parts of serving the community.

Our learners had a great time yesterday during the Learn Not to Burn presentation from the Fargo Fire Department! 🚒

Our learners had the opportunity to learn important fire safety tips and ways to stay safe in an emergency. A big thank you to the Fargo Fire Department for taking the time to visit Willow Park and help our learners build these important life-saving skills! We appreciate all you do for our school and community! ❤️
