Farmington Democrats kicked off the fall campaign season with a successful fundraiser on September 27 at Puente Pub in Unionville. It was great to see so many people come together, enjoy delicious food, and hear inspiring speeches from Democratic leaders State Senator Derek Slap, State Representative Mike Demicco, State Representative Rebecca Martinez and Brian F. X. Connolly.

A huge thank-you to event Chair MaryBeth Russell, and her team of Elaine Werner, Dorothy Raviele, Lorey Cavanaugh, and Suzanne Polsky for their great work organizing the event, recruiting volunteers, and bringing everyone together. And thanks to everyone who showed up despite the stormy weather!

Want to be part of the momentum? There’s a place for everyone in building a stronger Farmington. Whether you volunteer, contribute, or help spread the word, your involvement makes a difference. If you weren’t able to join us, you can still contribute at www.farmingtondemocrats.org.

Together, we can make a difference. Get involved, volunteer, make your voice heard, and remember to on November 3rd! Farmington Democrats

I did not run for office to talk about health care. I ran to change it.

I authored and helped pass stronger protections for health care workers. I fought for better access to health coverage. And I continue bringing the voices of nurses, patients and caregivers directly to the State Capitol.

I am honored to be endorsed by Nurses for America.

💚 SEPTEMBER 30TH 💚
LEAVE A GREEN LIGHT ON

On September 30, Connecticut will observe its first Military Su***de Remembrance and Awareness Day.

We were able to pass this into law this year, creating a day to remember veterans and military members lost to su***de, raise awareness, and make sure people know that support and resources are available.

The effort was inspired by the memory of Plainville resident CSM Gary F. Sirois, whose life and service touched so many people. His memory helped inspire a day centered on remembrance, awareness and hope.

On the evening of September 30:

💚 LEAVE A GREEN LIGHT ON 💚

One green light is a symbol of remembrance.

Together, green lights shining across Plainville and throughout Connecticut can send a message of strength and support.

💚 For those we have lost.
💚 For those still carrying the weight of their service.
💚 For their families.
💚 As a reminder that they are seen, supported and not alone.

I had 250 green lightbulbs ready to give out at the Plainville 250th Festival this weekend. Since the festival was canceled, I still want to get them out into our community.

If you are a Plainville resident and would like one, please fill out the form below. I will get one to the first 250 Plainville households that request one.

Please help us light up Plainville and Connecticut in green on September 30TH.

We remember. We care. You are not alone. 💚

Farmington Democrats attended the annual John Bailey Dinner on Saturday night and enjoyed a very informative evening, listening to inspiring speeches from many CT Democratic leaders including Office of Governor Ned Lamont, Office of Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, and Rep Jahana Hayes. Keynote speaker, former Georgia State representative and voting rights organizer Stacey Abrams rallied the crowd to prepare for the November election to protect our democracy by ensuring CT Democrats win in the Governor and state house races.
