The Parmer County Sheriff's Office is deeply saddened to report the tragic deaths of
two 18-year-old men following an incident this past weekend.

On Sunday, September 28, sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a feed yard within Parmer County. To assist
with the search operations, Texas Game Wardens were immediately activated, deploying two specialized boats
equipped with sonar technology.

Following an extensive search effort, the two male individuals were located on Sunday evening. The initial
investigation indicates that both men passed away on Saturday evening. Both men were employees of the feed yard where the incident occurred.

Sheriff Eric Geske extends his profound gratitude to the Texas Game Wardens, the Friona Police Department, Friona Fire Department,
and the residents of Parmer County and Friona who generously volunteered their time and resources to assist
law enforcement during the search and rescue operation.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further details are being released at this time out of respect for the families.
