A Letter from Dwan Madden:
As many of you know, l've spent my entire life in Fayette County. This community has shaped who I am, and it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life to serve the children and families of this county for more than 25 years.
Over 20 years ago, I first met Jeremy when he was an assistant principal at Fayette Elementary School. I was a young social worker, and together we worked with families facing challenges and trying to create better futures for their children. Even then, I saw firsthand his heart for kids, his compassion for families, and his commitment to doing what was right.
Years later, our relationship changed, and we fell in love. Since then, we have built a life together centered around serving others. Whether through education, social work, foster care, church, or community involvement, helping children and families has never been just a job for either of us-it has been our calling.
Jeremy is one of the hardest-working people I know. He comes from a family of hard workers. His father spent years working as a welder and taught Jeremy the value of showing up, working hard, and earning what you achieve. He also encouraged Jeremy to pursue every educational opportunity available to him. Jeremy took that lesson to heart, earning advanced degrees and dedicating his career to education because he believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
What many people may not see is the countless hours he spends preparing, planning, and working to make schools better for students and teachers. He doesn't seek recognition. He simply believes in doing the work.
As his wife, I have had a front row seat to his character. I have watched him lead with integrity, treat people with respect, and make decisions based on what is best for children.
On June 16, I would be honored if you would consider supporting Jeremy Madden for Superintendent. I truly believe he has the experience, leadership, work ethic, and heart to serve the students, teachers, and families of Fayette County well.
Most of all, I ask for your prayers, your support, and your vote.
Thank you for believing in our community and the future of our schools.
Vote Jeremy Madden for Fayette County Superintendent.
