🏆🎉 We are excited and honored to share that the Flatonia Lions Club was awarded Best Hometown Entry in the Czhilispiel Parade today! 🎉🏆

Representing the club in our pie-carrying Kubota were Flatonia Lions Club President Denise Greive and Lion members Melanie Stone, Rodney Muras, and Lisa Muras. Our awesome Flatonia Lions mascot was Marissa Muras, who helped make the day extra special!

We had a wonderful time greeting parade-goers and passing out candy along the route. Seeing the community come together to celebrate is one of the highlights of Czhilispiel each year.

We are especially grateful to the Flatonia community for your continued support of our annual Czhilispiel Pie Contest and Auction. Thank you to everyone who bakes pies, purchases pies, and bids so generously. Because of your support, the Flatonia Lions Club is able to provide scholarships to Flatonia ISD seniors and give back to our community through numerous service projects.

Thank you, Flatonia, for helping make this tradition such a success year after year! ❤️🦁🥧

🎉 A BIG thank you and congratulations to Bebe Pavlica! 🎉

Because of Bebe’s incredible hard work and dedication while running for Fayette County Fair Queen and earning the title, the Flatonia Lions Club was presented with a check for $1,868 from the Fayette County Fair! 👑💙

As Bebe’s sponsoring organization, the Lions Club received a portion of the proceeds from the sales she generated throughout her campaign.

We are so proud of Bebe and all the time and effort she put into representing our community! Thank you, Bebe, and thank you to everyone who supported her along the way! 🦁💛

Congratulations again, Queen Bebe! 👑

It was a busy and wonderful meeting for the Flatonia Lions Club Today!!!

We were proud to present a $2,000 donation to Flatonia Fire & Rescue in support of the men and women who work so hard to serve and protect our community. 🚒❤️ We are incredibly thankful for all they do for Flatonia and the surrounding area!

We were also excited to officially welcome Claudia Vasquez as our newest Lions Club member! We are so happy to have her join us and look forward to serving our community alongside her!

To top off a great meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from three awesome FISD seniors — Jesus Vargas, Tiffany Friedrich, and Yandel Manzano. They shared some of their accomplishments throughout high school and their aspirations for the future. We loved getting to know each of them a little better and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the years ahead! 🎓

Now, the Lions Club is gearing up for Czhilispiel, and we are especially excited for our annual Pie Contest! 🥧 We can’t wait for another fun weekend celebrating and supporting our wonderful community!
