Squad readiness starts with seeing the battlefield.

Small unmanned systems give the ability to see farther, gather information faster, and make better decisions. The advantage isn't the aircraft—it's the Soldier who knows how to use it.

In September 2026, the SEA 2-26 Course, consisting of two instructors and seven students, accompanied by Mr. Mauricio Carrizosa from the Operational Law Center, conducted a human rights field instruction at the Andersonville National Historic Site in Andersonville, Georgia. The visit connected classroom instruction with the history preserved at the former Civil War prisoner-of-war camp, Andersonville National Cemetery and the National Prisoner of War Museum, allowing students to examine the human consequences of armed conflict and the conditions that contributed to human rights violations. Through guided reflection and self-paced learning, students reinforced their understanding of international human rights and humanitarian law, accountability and the importance of upholding legal standards to protect human dignity and prevent future abuses.
