Lt. Gen. Johnny Davis spent the morning with Association of the United States Army - AUSA National chapter members at the Second Region Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

He spoke about the success of the recruiting this fiscal year and U.S. Army Recruiting Command’s expanded mission in guiding qualified applicants through the Force Generation Pipeline.

Davis encouraged the room to share their Army stories, “Never underestimate your impact on someone you pass.”

Members of the USAREC enterprise have spent the week at the annual AUSA Exposition where they have engaged with the public and showed them different paths through the Force Generation Pipeline.

Some friends enlist in the U.S. Army under the buddy program, others meet because they all chose to serve.

These future Soldiers, recruited out of Hawaii, met and trained together during their future Soldier training with their Recruiters.

Congratulations as they take the next step in their Army journey!

Welcome to week zero.

What happens when recruits first arrive at basic training? Before they meet their drills sergeants they spend between 3 to 10 days at reception.

During this critical administrative phase, the U.S. Army ensures every recruit is fully prepared for training by conducting comprehensive health screenings and immunizations, setting up military pay, benefits and official records and getting fitted for their first issue of gear and the classic military haircut.

Reception Battalion is the bridge between civilian life and the forge of Basic Combat Training. Once they are equipped, the real training begins.

Happy new (fiscal) year!

As we enter the new fiscal year we celebrate the continuous cycle of modernization. From the spark of interest that a commercial brings, to the first civilian steps at reception battalion, to the discipline and Warrior Ethos forged by Drill Sergeants, to the premier leadership development at Cadet Command, the Force Generation Pipeline is ready.

We aren’t just meeting goals; we are shaping the force of tomorrow.

Warriors start here and so does generational service.

With only days before Spc. Reyes shipped to Basic Combat Training he returned to his recruiting station with one lofty goal: supporting his son to take the same steps.

The Recruiters at the local recruiting station showed remarkable organizational agility and dedication to line up the requirements for Reyes to see his son enlist before he shipped out.

By enlisting in the U.S. Army Reserve, they secured a package for his future:
⭐ $30,000 enlistment bonus
⭐ Up to $50,000 in Student Loan Repayment
⭐ The Montgomery GI Bill + $350/month GI Bill Kicker

Stories like this exemplify the dual career benefits the Army Reserve offers, allowing young professionals to serve their Nation while receiving critical funding for higher education and career progression.

Congratulations to our newest Warfighters and the recruiters who helped this father-son duo!

On , we recognize the incredible bonds that holds our force together.

When someone chooses to step forward and serve they join a brotherhood and sisterhood that spans the globe. From battle buddies who become lifesavers and neighbors on post who become lifelong family, the Army community is a home.

There are biological families, then there are military families, thank you for the support and strength.
