May is Older Americans Month — a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of the seniors who helped build our communities 💛

At The Pantry of Broward, we serve hundreds of older adults living on fixed incomes, many of whom are forced to choose between food, housing, and medication.

Because of your support, they don’t have to.

Each month, we provide healthy and nutritious food packages that support not only physical health, but also dignity, independence, and peace of mind 🫶

And as these photos show, they also remind us to keep smiling, laughing, and finding joy in every stage of life 😊✨

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful today and always for their service and the freedom we have because of them. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

We take this moment to honor and remember our beloved founder, BJ Buntrock, in celebration of her birthday and the lasting legacy she continues to leave through The Pantry of Broward.

BJ’s compassion, generosity, and dedication to serving others built more than an organization — she built a mission rooted in dignity, hope, and community.

Her legacy lives on through every family served, every volunteer who gives their time, and every act of kindness shared. Although she is deeply missed, her spirit remains at the heart of everything we do.

With the progress of Lofts on 6th, we know she would be very proud of this vision becoming reality💛

Yesterday, we were honored to break ground on Lofts on 6th alongside our partners, supporters, and community leaders.

Today, we’re pleased to share more photos from this special milestone and a closer look at the vision we are building together.

This project represents more than a building. It reflects what is possible when mission-driven partners come together with vision, purpose, and partnership to respond to urgent local needs. Together, Green Mills Group and The Pantry of Broward are helping create a lasting investment in dignity, stability, and community.
