Back at it again! 💚 A huge shoutout to HandsOn South Florida for bringing back their annual food drive and showing up for our seniors once again! We love seeing this tradition continue year after year, and we’re so thankful to have a community partner that keeps finding ways to give back. Our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is open, and this year we are working to place over 2,000 meals on the table.

It runs on the people who organize one. A drive at your workplace, your congregation, your club or among your neighbors is what fills those boxes for the seniors and grandfamilies who count on us.

We will send you the list and coordinate the details. Email [email protected] to get started. Collection runs November 2 to 11 at 2800 W State Road 84, Suite 101, Fort Lauderdale.

The best part of an evening like this is what happens afterward.

On Thursday, October 1, Taste of South Florida filled the Ferguson Home showroom in Fort Lauderdale. Chef stations, a silent auction, a cigar roller in the corner, and proceeds that come back to the people we serve: seniors on fixed incomes and grandparents raising their grandchildren, more than 600 of them every month.

That is what the night turns into. A food box at the door, benefits navigation, and case management for the ones who need it.
