Getting a patient to the hospital is only part of the mission.

Tropic Air Rescue works closely with medical teams and receiving facilities to help ensure patients are transported to the appropriate level of care as quickly as possible.

Today, on Emergency Nurses Day, we're recognizing the critical care nurses who bring skill, compassion and expertise to every Tropic Air Rescue mission. 🚁

When a patient is aboard a Tropic Air Rescue helicopter, they're not simply being transported. Our critical care nurses provide specialized care throughout the flight while working alongside paramedics and coordinating with the receiving medical team.

Thank you to our nurses for being ready when every second matters.

In the Bahamas, distance can mean more than miles.

When you're on a remote island or far from advanced medical care, Tropic Air Rescue provides a critical connection to advanced medical care in Florida.

Because where you are shouldn’t stand between you and access to critical care.

The view may be beautiful, but reaching remote locations requires precision, preparation and experience. 🚁

Tropic Air Rescue is ready to navigate the distance between where an emergency happens and where advanced medical care is available.

Yesterday Tropic Air Rescue participated in our second “Career Day” at the Broadview Elementary School in Lauderhill. The crew talked about their positions and responsibilities of being Flight Paramedics, Flight Nurses and Pilots. It was our pleasure to speak to such a wonderful group of potential colleges. Great questions from the kids. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your Day!
