Long post incoming. This is a post I have been struggling to make since August, maybe a little sooner.
Many of you know where we started and what brought us to this new location but we have lots of new faces and followers who aren't familiar. So the shortest of recaps is we were in a small location on PSL Blvd. We started to do real well. They didn't like it. We had to go. Now we are here.
We love here so much. It is a blessing in disguise or eventually will be. And we really really want to stay here. However, here has come with a significantly higher cost and we opened right before Summer. The absolute slowest time of year for any and all small businesses. We have been doing anything and everything we can think of to keep us up and running to scrape through and make to the season all while repeatedly telling ourselves the season is almost here. We can do it. It's right there!
To be fair to ourselves, I think we were definitely doing as well as we could for it being Summer and so many people just not knowing were are here.
Now here we are finally in October! Black Friday (we the season gets rwal lol) is so close and we have big really fun plans for that but full transparency we may not make there and we need help!
We aren't going to start another gofundme. We did that for the move here and I doesn't feel right to do it again.
We know it's a struggle right now for so many of us. What we are asking and what we need is likes, shares, interactions and if you can, some sales. If you are thinking "Hey, I should stop by The Midnight Dreary" please do! Maybe do some early Christmas shopping.
Tell everyone who will listen that we are here! We hear new customers say so often that they had no idea we are here. Post us in your fb groups where allowed.
Truly, we just need to get through November and I really believe the other side of the holidays will look so much more positive to us.
