The Navigators ended their week with a staff ride of the Alamo. It was a great opportunity to learn some history that happened in our backyard, and we talked about how geospatial principles could be applied in this historic example. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Thomas, for doing a phenomenal job!

From December 4-5, three members of the Army Geospatial Center (AGC) visited the 512th Engineer Detachment (EN DET) at US Army South to conduct training on the Situational Awareness Geospatially Enabled (SAGE) tool. The SAGE tool assists geospatial engineers in quickly creating foundational geospatial data, decreasing the time required to create products, and allowing them more time to conduct analysis. After two days with the 512th EN DET, the AGC personnel then spent two days conducting training with the 543rd EN DET at US Army North from December 6-7.
