I had the opportunity last night to introduce myself to members of the Building Contractor's Association here in Northeast Indiana.

As a higher ed educator, the trades are very important to me. One of the most important things when working as an educator is being able to help students find the fields they will thrive in - and those aren't always 4 years degrees. I felt a responsibility in that role to understanding how to discuss these fields with my students when they were struggling in a 4 year program.

Our trades impact our lives every day, and ensure that we have safe, healthy, clean spaces to live and work in. We are in a building trades crisis, and those who want to go into these programs deserve the education needed to do so. Respect those who are in the trades!

I believe women have the right to bodily autonomy. I believe women have the right to SURVIVE their pregnancy when it develops complications. I believe that children deserve to be supported if they are going to be brought into this world.

This, and so many other reasons, is why I do not support an abortion ban. There are always unfortunate, devastating cases where an abortion might need to be sought after. Indiana created a blanket ban that turns women into numbers, not people.

Martin Carbaug doesn’t trust Indiana families to make their own private medical decisions.

• A ban that forces r***d children to continue pregnancies.
• A ban that forces Hoosier families facing devastating pregnancy diagnoses to leave the state just to get the medical care they need.

This Saturday, Indivisible Northeast Indiana, as well as other groups are hosting the No Kings protest for Fort Wayne and the surrounding area.
Let's vote early, and use this time to take power for the people.

At this event, we will be providing polling station information (both early voting and election day). encouraging early voting, election defense information provided and recruiting for election defense work.

It's breast cancer awareness month, and something has been on my heart recently. I will be 40 in December. This means my peers are at the age where we will start seeing more of us get diagnosed with breast cancer.

This comes at the same time that fewer grants for research into disease across the board are being cut at the federal level.

If elected, I will work to ensure that Hoosiers are protected when dealing with this and other issues unique to the female body.

I would like to thank the Indiana National Organization For Women for endorsing my campaign. This group has helped with my campaign, both with their financial support and as friends. As a woman, I will continue to fight for women's right's, safety, and equality. I am the candidate who will be commited to these rights.
