Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) began mailing 2021 Property Value Notices on April 15th. The deadline to file a protest for most properties will be May 15th, 2021 or 30 days from the mail date listed on the notice.

Filing a protest online will be the fastest, easiest and safest way to file.

Tarrant Appraisal District Temporary Employment/Internship Opportunity

Position Title - Summer Intern/Temp
Class Code - 6-8000/Adm
Job Posting Date - 3/15/2020

Examples of Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Accurately process large volumes of correspondence, notices, schedules, reports, forms and letters
• Open, stamp, sort and distribute large volumes of mail
• Review, prepare, scan, and index documents into imaging system
• Interacting with property owners appearing for ARB hearings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Actively enrolled in full time college courses or recent Dec/May grad.
• Organized
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
• Must work well with others

Salary - $11.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, some Saturdays required.

Temporary position - April 19th – July 30th

Benefits - Obtain an introductory view into the Texas property tax system.
