Bill J. Elliott Elementary does an annual storybook peep diorama contest! Librarian Amy Suson was inspired by the Star Telegram contest over a decade ago (which her husband and her won!), and decided to do it with her students. Library students create a Peep Diorama over their favorite book with the Peeps as the characters and the box as their setting.

Mrs. Suson said, "I absolutely adore Peeps so bringing them into my library is such a joy. I love seeing the students' ingenuity and creativity in their projects. We even had a teacher participate this year bc it 'just looked fun'."

To celebrate National School Library Month, Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary School teachers and staff are showing their love of reading with their own Read posters outside their classroom or office. At VZG, we are always trying to create a culture and climate of a love for reading.
