An evening at the Minor House 🤍

SGA had the honor of joining Chancellor Pullin at the Minor House for dinner and meaningful conversation about the future of TCU.

Through an engaging Q&A, we heard directly from Chancellor Pullin about his vision for the university—one centered on growth, student success, and strengthening the TCU community. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and engage in thoughtful dialogue about what’s ahead for our campus.

Moments like these remind us how valuable it is to have leadership that listens, connects, and invests in its students.

Grateful for the opportunity to have a seat at the table and a voice in the future of TCU. 💜

From Fort Worth to Capitol Hill 🇺🇸

This past week, SGA Cabinet traveled to Washington, D.C. alongside fellow Big 12 student governments to advocate for issues impacting students across the nation. Through months of preparation—researching, writing, and refining our message—we stepped into conversations with legislators and staffers ready to represent YOU.

“D.C. serves as a unique opportunity for our student leaders to interface with public officials… a once in a lifetime chance to advocate for our students on Capitol Hill.” – Alex Holder, Speaker of the House

But beyond policy, this trip reminded us that advocacy is personal. The most meaningful moments came from the stories—hearing journeys, sharing experiences, and building connections that go far beyond a meeting room.

We “thoroughly enjoyed getting to connect with staffers and legislators as we saw real monumental change occur on the Hill.” – Sam Hunter, Treasurer

Our biggest takeaway? Networking isn’t just showing up—it’s about truly connecting. Listening. Sharing your story. Learning someone else’s.

And that’s how change begins. 🤝
