In keeping with the mission of Huma-Faith, Shifa Project is a residential safe haven regardless of religion/faith, race, culture, or ethnicity where men can be sheltered, protected, nurtured, and cultivated in family orientated and spiritual way without obstacles generally experienced in secular and/or non-faith-based services that currently exists in our society.

I think we all exhibit a level of egotism-rightfully so we all should value our righteous intentions, interests, achievements, and aspirations. However, when Allah permits someone to be out front or first in something, it behooves us to be humble and act in the greater good of His Cause!!!

Housing the unhoused is commendable-i.e., a noble endeavor since it takes care of a most basic need! However, not addressing root causes that attributes to being unhoused amounts to a Band-Aid remedy when only providing a roof over someone. True effectiveness is investment in their personal growth & development Unfortunately; this too requires funding and right strategy from those who understand the process!!!

As with Tylenol & Ibuprofen providing temporary relief from pain, too often Charitable Relief covers only a moment absent from real solutions! If one needs today and only the day’s need is met, what prevents the same one from having a need tomorrow? I understand that the Justice of Islam is not a remedy but is rather a cure!!!
