Established in 2014 by Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks, the Healthy Lives Matter initiative was primarily focused on prostate cancer awareness and prevention.
This initiative has now grown to include Alzheimer's awareness and education.

Registration is now open for the 10th Annual Prostate Cancer Screening Event!
Special guests from the Dallas Mavericks will include the Mavs ManiAACs, Mavs D Town Crew, and Mavs DJ. Those screened will receive a FREE meal and Dallas Mavericks t-shirt!

Join Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks at the 5th Annual Prostate Cancer Screening Event, a Healthy Lives Matter Initiative, on February 16, 2018 at the Moncrief Cancer Institute. The prostate screening includes an education seminar and blood test. A Free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to all attendees. This event will also have special guest from the Texas Rangers, classic car display, healthy food samples and more.
