If you’re hiking the trails at Lake Georgetown, don’t underestimate the Texas heat. Park rangers are reminding everyone to:
✅ Bring plenty of water
✅ Stay hydrated before and during your hike
✅ Take breaks in the shade
✅ Know your limits
✅ Hike smart and safe

Heat exhaustion can happen quickly — especially during the hottest parts of the day. A little preparation can prevent a dangerous emergency.
🥾☀️ Stay safe, stay cool, and enjoy the trails responsibly!
