All you need is 1) a standard mason jar and 2) our Nectar Dispenser Pump, and you’re set!
- This pump will fit REGULAR mouth (2 3/8″ rim to rim) mason jars – NOT wide mouth mason jars!
- Tight on space in your fridge? Or do you want to store as much nectar as possible? You decide – our pump fits on both small and large, 16 oz and 32 oz mason jars!
- Keep you hummingbird nectar fresh and easy to access in your fridge!
- The downward-facing nozzle on this pump (unlike most other outward-facing nozzles on pumps) makes filling our bottles quick and easy!

We dusted off a favorite older design for the State Fair- the Texas Feeder! It's definitely a favorite - our first design to sell out this year! Ryan and Caleb had to go back to the shop and crank out another 100 to take back to the booth - so you still have a chance to get one for yourself! We are not currently selling these online, so if you needed another reason to come to the ...there you go! :)

FAQ of the week: "How do I shine my feeder after it patinas?"
Answer: Since your feeder is made of 100% pure copper, it will oxidize over time, acquiring a patina. This does NOT compromise the integrity of the feeder in any way – it is merely an outer layer of mild rust.
You can use generic metal polish intended for soft metals like copper (Brasso, for example). Additionally, here is a safe, all-natural and easy way to shine your feeder:
Mix 1 c white vinegar with 1 TBSP table salt in a glass cup or bowl; stir until salt dissolves.
Pour vinegar solution into a clean, empty spray bottle (preferably glass).
Take the bottles out of the feeder that needs to be clean; remove any flowers, as well. Take the feeder and spray bottle outside, and spray the feeder thoroughly over a concrete or rock surface that can be easily rinsed. Watch your feeder magically regain its shine!
Last and VERY important step: rinse the feeder immediately and thoroughly in cool, running water. Hang to dry.
*works best with feeders that have gained a patina over several months, vs. a year or more*

Are you having trouble with bees or wasps drinking from your feeder? To fix this problem, simply:
1) Fill your bottle about three-fourths of the way full and cap it
2) Insert it into your feeder
3) Tilt the bottle upward until the nectar touches the base of the red tip.
Keeping the nectar away from the hole in the tip prevents the bee or wasp from being able to reach it while still allowing your little hummers to drink :)

Goodness, aren’t hummingbirds just amazing?! This little emerald beauty still stuns us with his incredible detail.
Although hummingbirds are know for their almost frenetic flight patterns, did you know they also like to sit sometimes while they eat? This makes our perch feeders pretty popular with them! The feeder in the picture is available in our shop* - check out the link in our bio!
