Isham is a historic six-acre community cemetery established in 1870 and located in east Fort Worth. W. L. Sweet (1824-1870).

The Historical Marker can be found on the north end of the cemetery and reads: "The Rev. Marion Isham (1831-1904) and his family came to Tarrant County from Georgia about 1870. Soon after arriving in the area Isham donated a one-acre plot of land to be used for a community cemetery. The oldest remaining legible grave marker here is that of N. The next regular scheduled cemetery cleanup day is Saturday July 31st from 8:00 a.m. until noon cst. If you are unable to attend please make plans to assist the symmetry maintenance at a time that works for you. It is the responsibility of each family to maintain their burial area is the burial area. Donations are always accepted towards the maintenance and upkeep of this material. If you wish to donate please send a check to:
