Keller ISD Community, Tarrant County Commissioner Alisa Simmons needs our voices. She showed up to speak for us and now it’s our turn!!!

County Judge Tim O’Hare is calling for the redrawing of Tarrant County Commisioner district boundaries, but his plan is to chop up Alissa Simmons district so she loses her voter base. Tim O’Hare is trying to get rid of Commisioner Simmons. Tim O’Hare has been very vocal about his desire to make sure every elected seat in Tarrant County is filled with a loyalist to his agenda.

You can read all about him and what he’s done in Tarrant County here: https://www.texastribune.org/2024/10/11/texas-tarrant-county-tim-ohare-far-right/

Tim Ohare is taking his direction from the same PACs and donors that we know all too well here in Keller ISD: Monty Bennett, Patriot Mobile, Wilks & Dunn, etc. All he needs is one more loyalist on the commission for them to have absolute control. He wants to create a voting block like what we had here on the board in Keller ISD (and the same people created the same thing in Carroll, Grapevine Colleyville, Mansfield, etc). They want to collude and operate secretly to push through their agenda. Can you imagine how things could have gone differently for our school district if Tim O'Hare had the voting block he needed to push our board's resolution through? We'd be caught up in even more costly legal battles trying to stop it.

Our community benefits from compromise and differing perspectives and most of all TRANSPARENCY. This is how the best policies come to be and how ENTIRE communities are served.

Please attend one of these meetings if you can! We also need you to email the county commissioners and let them know this isn’t right or fair.
