Our terrarium workshop last Sunday was a huge success thanks to the efforts of many. It takes a ton of work to prepare materials, provide refreshments, check in members and guests, grow and distribute begonias, to run the workshop, provide support to attendees, etc. Our branch members handled every aspect of the preparations and we appreciate everyone who helped in every little way.

We’d also like to thank all who attended and built a terrarium — with roughly 100 members and guests in attendance, we set an attendance record!

Registration is officially open for the 2026 National ABS & SWR Convention in Fort Worth, TX from May 27-30.

Today is the LAST DAY to sign up for our Terrarium Workshop. We are incredibly excited to bring this learning opportunity to y'all, and you won't want to miss out!

Registration fee is $20 for entry, plus you will receive a rare terrarium begonia! (Please bring your own container, no larger than a gallon.)

Our local Begoniac, Glenn Dickerson, will be guest appearing live on Palmstreet with Wuhoo Tropicals ‘Live Happy New Year 2026’ event, Friday evening (tonight, 1/2) starting at 5PM.

Glenn will have a great time teaching some begonia basics including propagation best practices used within the Begonia Collection. These practices can be used by anyone to make 2026 their most successful begonia-growing year ever!
