There is so much going on every day in Framingham and I love meeting new neighbors and learning about our strengths and resources! Today was United Way of Tri-County Jack's Abby Craft La**rs 5K around D7, Senate President Karen E. Spilka 55+ and those who love them Fair, and the McCarthy Elementary School Annual Pumpkin Fair. It's bundle up weather for sure!

Our first honoring of Latino and Hispanic all stars in our midst this evening. What a sweet, meaningful ceremony full of tremendous gratitude and joy.

The Spooktacular is always a good time and the city staff go above and beyond to transform city hall into a halloween wonderland. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for a walk over the new boardwalk that connects Bowditch Field to Stonybrook Rd. Having toured the area prior, it's so nice to see the water flowing! The flood mitigation project was awarded an Environmental Business Council Community Choice Award this summer. It was a great collaboration with City of Framingham, City of Framingham Parks & Recreation Department, Conservation Commission and a MA state MVP grant.
I've now been on council long enough to be able to say "I remember when we were looking at designs for this project," and now it's complete!
