💜 PARENTS & CAREGIVERS: BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY 💜
In this CBS interview, Gabrielle Union brings attention to missing Black girls and the need for their stories to be heard. These children deserve protection, attention, and every effort to bring them home.
At A.R.I.S.E. Youth Mentoring, Corp., we encourage parents and caregivers to stay actively involved:
📍 Know where your children are, who they’re with, and when they should be home.
📱 Set regular check-ins and discuss online friendships and safety.
🗣️ Talk about boundaries, unsafe situations, and how to ask for help.
💜 Listen without judgment so they feel safe sharing concerns—even when they’ve broken a rule.
We cannot control every situation, but we can strengthen communication, build trust, and stay attentive. Protecting our children is a shared responsibility.
🙏🏽 Praying for every missing child’s safe return and for the families searching for answers.
Stay aware. Stay connected. Be intentional. Our children’s lives matter.
