This Manufacturing Month, Kentucky's aerospace industry is taking off in Walton, KY.🚀

Safran is an international high-technology group, operating in the aviation (propulsion, equipment, and interiors), defense, and space markets, contributing to a more sustainable world. Its state-of-the-art facility in Kentucky produces and refurbishes carbon brake disks, as well as manufactures wheels and brakes for civil and military customers. The company's Walton plant is one of its three carbon production plants worldwide and the only one in North America.

Manufacturing success is rolling through Eastern Kentucky. 🚙

Congratulations to Speed Kentucky LLC, a producer and distributor of utility task vehicles (UTVs), as they recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new facility in Owsley County. This $1.47 million investment will create 60 new full-time jobs and is the largest investment and job-creation announcement on record for Owsley County. The Booneville operation will handle final assembly and distribution of Speed UTV vehicles.
