A wonderful celebration to open the Emery DeBeck Genealogy and Research Room at our library. We are so proud to have this collection of family and town history in our beautiful new space. We miss Emery’s dry sense of humor and keen wit on a daily basis and hope he would approve of what we have accomplished with his donations. ❤️ We are glad that so many of his family were able to join us today.

The last story time of summer 2026. We read Celia Planted a Garden by Phyllis Root and Gary Schmidt with illustrations by Melissa Sweet and designed our own flower gardens. It’s always bittersweet to end the summer but we had a lot of fun this year and these scholars are ready to get back to school.❤️

That sure was fun! We all learned so much about fabric and fashion of the 18th century. Thank you Kelli Burnham from Maine State Library for sharing your expertise.
