A Proud Night for the Valley Oak Family

Last night was an incredibly special and emotional evening at the Clovis West Graduation ceremony.
Our very own Valley Oak second grader, Angel, had the distinct honor of carrying our school flag into the graduation. It was a beautiful moment of family and Wildcat pride, as Angel got to lead the way for the graduating class, which included his very own older sister, Alena!

Congratulations to Alena and the entire graduating Class of 2026. We are so proud to have Angel represent Valley Oak on such a big stage to celebrate this wonderful family milestone.

Our TK students have had a front-row seat to some exciting action on campus lately!

Right next to the kindergarten area, our district teams have been hard at work preparing the site for a brand-new portable classroom. Our littlest Wildcats have absolutely loved watching the big trucks, machinery, and construction process unfold right before their eyes. It has turned recess and outdoor time into a daily front-row science and community helper lesson!

A big thank you to our district facilities and maintenance crews for working hard to improve our campus and create wonderful new spaces for our students to learn and grow.

Monday, 6/1: * Countdown to Summer - Day M: Mickey Mouse Day! Wear your favorite Disney gear.

6th Grade to Wild Waters (Depart 8:30 AM / Return 4:45 PM).

2nd and 3rd Grade Incentive: Trip to John's Incredible Pizza (Depart 11:00 AM / Return 2:00 PM).

Tuesday, 6/2:
Countdown to Summer - Day M: Move Day! Wear workout gear.

Q4 Awards in the MPR: 1st through 3rd grades at 8:15 AM; 4th through 6th grades at 9:15 AM.

4th Q Incentive Upper Grade: Trip to Clovis West Pool (Depart 12:00 PM / Return 2:00 PM).

Wednesday, 6/3:
Countdown to Summer - Day E: Electric Day! Wear neon.

Early Release Day: Dismissal is at 1:20 PM.
All TK and K in the AM.

Talent Show: 8:00 AM in the MPR.

Upper Grade BBQ: 11:50 AM.

Countdown to Summer - Day R: Rockstar Day! Wear your favorite band or rock gear.

Important Reminders: Last Call for Lost and Found
Parents and students, please make sure to stop by and check out the lost and found items located by the MPR before Friday. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year. You can also view items online through the Cat Closet Catalog link.
