And more rain! Thunder showers, lightening. The rain was very heavy at times.

Barn Sale! We had lots of fun touring the property, chasing the chickens and the goats. Found some treasures for the B&B, What a cool gate! And how about the Wall of Fame? There are actually several walls of fame and a number of trophy shelves and cabinets.

That old barn suffered a bit of damage over the winter.

Just in time for the Classic Auto Show, too.

August 15 - back in Joseph, Oregon.

Next stop- a wedding in Mendocino. We prepared and served the Friday Night Welcome dinner, which was held upstairs, in an historic barn. There’s Mimi at the bar, the hors d’oeuvres table, BBQ beef tenderloin with shrooms and spinach cheese ravioli. Strawberry tiramisu for dessert.

I visited the hill where the locals had attempted to reestablish the native flora. A few years of drought has certainly taken it’s toll. At first glance, a very disappointing scene. But on closer inspection…YAY, a number of the plantings have taken hold! Mother Nature prevails!

First stop, San Diego. We are very happy to be back. Things seem to be about the same here. We are busy with many guests. Bill is hard at work at the front desk. A Romance Package for the newlyweds.

After what seemed like forever, we are finally back on track. The Pandemic certainly has given everyone a run for their money. Two of our regular clients are no longer in operation, three are laying very low as far as vacations and time off, and the Yosemite Conservancy is treading lightly with all of their activities.
