Central Valley Pagan Pride (CVPP)

Help wanted finding a venue.... City parks peices are up, 600 to 800 bucks, UU church, 1200, discovery center 1800 to 3000... ouch! Any one have any ideas? We wa t to bring Pagan Pride back to Fresno. But these prices out rediculase

Good news, planning has began for 2019 Pagan Pride planning. We are currently building our planning committee and are looking for a location.

We are back! Myself (Melissa B Reed, and Hubs Matthew L Reed) have agreed to come back to central valley PPD. Paper work is being submitted as we speek.
We are hosting a small spring time event as well, Fresno County Fairy Festival. I'll post a link to it soon, for now, if you are a vendor looking for PPD space, you may start sending PM to us and we will begin our list. Ve dor booth price is TBD, but no more the 40.00 depending on location.

A deterrent to immediate success might be an old mental agreement you made when you were first starting out in your metaphysical studies. This could be in the form of a conclusion you made when you first started studying or even when you formed ideas about the criteria for magickal success.
At the beginning of my conscious practice, I made some sort of rationalization that I would have to study many things and practice many attempts/hours before I would become an adept magician. The problem with this thought process is that it was vague. If this concept were more specific, it would aid for more immediate, more concrete manifestation.
For example, if I had told myself that I had to read The Spiral Dance, perform all of the practical exercises and be able to call the elemental guardians by memory BEFORE I could manifest the physical act of manifesting apples by just saying the magickal phrase "Queen of Avalon, send me a red apple"----that is a very concrete set of actions that follows with the manifestation of the personal ability to demonstrate a specific magickal act. This is one way of giving the psyche something to work with in a more immediate AND concrete way.
The vagueness of "I'll study a lot of books, do a lot of exercises before I will be a good magician" is a thoughtform full of loopholes, which our mind can use to put our success into the future, because it can justify incompletion of terms.
To be able to perform specific magickal acts of manifestation or perform specific kinds of magick/spells successfully, explore your mental relationship to that specific area. Can I perform a love spell in a way that will yield immediate results? What do I need to do to become adept at immediate manifestation of money? Which magickal acts will ensure that my home is safe and peaceful?
