Fresno State Library’s Special Collections Research Center was awarded a $126,000 grant from the California State Library to expand the Central Valley Rainbow Archives. The grant will support the preservation of late activist Jeffery Robinson’s collection of Central Valley-related historical LGBTQ2+ materials. Bookplate Design Reception! Join us on Thu, April 30 at 1pm in the Maps area (1st Floor) to reveal the winning bookplate design for the Eloise Quiñones-Keber Aztec & Mexican Art History Collection. We will celebrate the student contest winner and honorable mentions with coffee and donuts from Dunkin' and explore this amazing collection of resources. Take a little break and celebrate!

On Tues, April 21, attend a panel discussion (2–3:30 p.m.) and the Womack Lecture (6–7 p.m.), both in the Peters Ellipse Gallery on the Library's 2nd Floor. Legal scholar Ifeoma Ajunwa will present “The Quantified Worker,” examining how AI is transforming employment—and what you need to know to navigate it. Womack events are free and open to students and the public.
