PNM Company was honored to welcome Congressman Vince Fong for a visit to our facility to discuss the importance of manufacturing in the Central Valley. During his visit, we had the opportunity to showcase the advanced manufacturing happening right here in our community and discuss the future of our industry.
Key topics included workforce development, Career Technical Education (CTE), and the importance of internships in creating the next generation of skilled manufacturing professionals. Strong partnerships between education, industry, and leadership are critical to keeping manufacturing strong in the Valley.
We would like to thank Congressman Fong for his leadership, support, and for recognizing the vital role manufacturing plays in our local economy and workforce. Together, we can continue creating opportunities and building a stronger future for American manufacturing.

There's no crying in baseball or in Manufacturing!!!
Our very own Marina Saake is honoring “The Women Who Kept Baseball Alive” — A Story from World War II 🇺🇸
When World War II broke out, America sent its sons overseas — and with them went the stars of Major League Baseball. The stadium lights dimmed, the crowds grew quiet, and for the first time, America’s favorite pastime faced an uncertain future.
But then, something extraordinary happened.
In 1943, as the country rallied behind the war effort, a new league was born — the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). Scouts traveled across the nation, recruiting women who could run, hit, slide, and throw just as fiercely as the men who’d once graced those same fields.
They came from farms, factories, and small towns — trading aprons for cleats and becoming heroes in their own right. Players like Dottie Kamenshek, Sophie Kurys, and Pepper Paire-Davis dazzled fans with skill, grit, and grace. Dressed in skirts and lipstick (by league rule), they proved that strength and femininity could share the same diamond.
As the men fought abroad, these women fought to prove themselves at home — playing in packed stadiums, signing autographs, and showing America that the game didn’t stop just because the world was at war.
When the war ended, many of them hung up their gloves quietly, returning to ordinary lives. But their legacy never faded. They had done more than play baseball — they had protected a piece of America’s soul.
Years later, their story inspired the classic film “A League of Their Own.” But the real story? It’s even better — one of courage, teamwork, and the unbreakable spirit of women who refused to let the game die.
American pastime to American manufacturing. NOTHING IS BETTER!!!

When "QUALITY COUNTS" call PNM

Hi All,
Attached are a few photo from the Proclamation award the City of Fresno gave the SJVMA naming October Manufacturing Month in the City of Fresno. The proclamation was sponsored by Mayor Dyer, Fresno City Council President Annalisa Perea and Councilmember Nelson Esparza and to receive the award was Mike Betts from Betts Company, Director Jonathan Delano from CTEC High School and Mario Persicone from PNM Company.
It was very nice of the city to recognize the hard work this industry is doing to keep great jobs here and to help the local, State, regional and National economy.
Thank you team PNM for the continued support hosting interns from the schools and being the best of the best.
Thanks
Mario
