The lack of knowledge about sign compliance certaintly tracks with his lack of knowledge about our city.

Blue Burt: The Hypocrisy We Can’t Ignore

While Burt Thakur’s supporters push divisive narratives and hide behind fake accounts to intimidate opponents, they continue to cry foul even after sincere apologies were made by his opponent—yet say nothing about their own GOP-endorsed candidate’s past.

In 2016, Burt acted in a short film called “Church vs State”—where he covered himself in blue makeup and portrayed the “Krishna Imposter,” a violent character who joins armed versions of Jesus, Buddha, Moses, and Muhammad to rob banks and ki||s people.

‼️ WARNING: the short film is loaded with violence, nudity, and religious stereotypes that are likely to offend ‼️

For context: Krishna is one of the most revered deities in Hinduism—worshipped as the eighth avatar of Vishnu and often seen as the embodiment of protection, love, and compassion.

Did that character reflect any of those values?

In the film, Burt’s character helps rob a bank, signs a deal with the devil, points a weapon at a tied-up woman, and ultimately ki||s Jesus. It opens with half-naked women, includes female nudity, drug use, and ends in mass ki||ing.

He chose that role. He auditioned and portrayed a Hindu God ki||ing Jesus with military weapons.
And now he wants to represent Frisco?

This raises serious questions:
• Will Hindu voters turn out in support of a man who mocked their faith on film?
• Will Christian voters support someone who ki||s Jesus in a film?
• Will veterans and police back someone who steals a police car and ki||s authority figures—even if fictional?

We’re told to look past it because “it was just acting.” But character does matter—especially for someone asking to lead our diverse, values-driven city. His opponent is held accountable for her words. Why not hold Burt accountable for his actions?

To our Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and Buddhist neighbors: We share this with deep respect. The imagery is offensive. But it deserves attention because leadership must be grounded in respect—for all communities.

Frisco deserves better. Say NO to Burt Thakur on June 7th!

In 2022, Burt ran for Congress in California. Unlike the other six candidates, Burt did not campaign on his background and experience to effect change. Instead he promised unrealistic and costly projects such as the desalination of the Salton Sea, waste treatment, pipelines, and a geothermal power plant. Just the desalination project alone was estimated to cost tax payers nearly $80 Billion! Throughout his campaign, critics often reference his lack of experience and civic service. Burt ultimately loses, receives 3% of the primary vote, and starts vying for Texas!

Burt Thakur arrived in Frisco with an irresponsible spending agenda. Burt campaigns on empty promises and no roadmap. He wants shelters, power plants, battery farms, large data centers— just to name a few of his crazy pipe dreams for OUR city. Who will pay for this? YOU—THE TAXPAYER! We do not need fantasy projects that drain our budget and raise our taxes! All of this is financially reckless and fiscally unsound. What will he promise next? Burt can NOT be taken seriously. It is ALL a show! Every single day—a new story, a new act, a new series with Burt.
FRISCO NEEDS PRACTICAL LEADERSHIP! BURT IS NOT IT!
